Spanish Bay Reef Resort Description:
The Reef Resort is said to be an intimate oceanfront resort of 50 rooms in five 2 storey buildings nestled in a tiny cove at the northwestern tip of Grand Cayman.
The Spanish Bay Reef Resort lies roughly twenty minutes from George Town, and 25 minutes from the airport. Guests say the Reef Resort has a freshwater swimming pool, jacuzzi, private beach and swing hammocks, shared jeeps, bicycles, and a disco. This secluded oceanfront resort claims to have the ambiance of the Caribbean as it used to be and is located near many dive sites along the north and west coasts.
The Spanish Bay Reef Resort on-site watersports operation apparently provides for all of your snorkeling, diving and watersports needs. Guests also apparently have the use all of the beachfront facilities on 7 Mile Beach at Spanish Bay Reef's sister property, the Beach Club Colony.
Spanish Bay Reef Resort Accommodation:
The rooms are said to be decorated with casual Caribbean charm and style. Guests say there are 67 standard or superior rooms with 2 full beds; 10 king size cottages with private oceanview patio; 9 one bedroom ocean front bungalows and 4 two bedroom condos with private terrace.
All rooms and suites are described as fully air conditioned, have ceiling fans, telephone with data port, satellite TV, bathroom with tub and shower, and a private patio or balcony. Standard and superior rooms claim to offer a garden view, and the 1 and 2 bedroom oceanfront suites are located in separate bungalows. There is also a daily maid service for all units and laundry facilities are available for guests to use.
