Discovery Point Club Description:
This complex of all oceanfront suites is at the far north end of Seven Mile Beach in West Bay, 6 mi (9½ km) from George Town. The Club is located directly on the Seven Mile Beach, where from the resort it is said that visitors can really see the unspoiled beauty of the beach. The Discovery Point Club is a resort that claims to offer superior oceanfront accommodations and exciting attractions to all of its guests and visitors.
Discovery Point Club Amenities:
Each suite is said to have two bedrooms and two complete baths and full kitchen facilities. Apparently each unit has been uniquely decorated by its owner to enhance this tropical getaway.
Staff at the Discovery Point Club say guests can also rent a one-bedroom oceanfront suite or a garden-view "hotel-type" bedroom without kitchen facilities and still enjoy all the amenities of Discovery Point.
All accommodations have screened-in patios or balconies and satellite cable TV.
Discovery Point Club Facilities:
Many guests have said it is possible to step outside for a leisurely stroll down Seven Mile Beach or snorkel the reefs just off the shores. The fresh-water pool and heated whirlpool spa are located on the beach.
There are said to be championship-sized Tennis courts that guests are able to use.
Guests and visitors can apparently catch a boat from the beach to swim with the rays at Stingray City, or stay on land to golf at one of the island's two 18-hole courses, sailing and watersports are also said to be available for guests.
The Discovery Point Club claim their friendly Caymanian staff will be more than happy to make all the arrangements for any guests and visitors.
